And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart. (Luke 18:1)
At Stonehouse Church, we know that we are unable to accomplish the work and live the lives that Jesus has asked us to live. Instead, we rest in the righteousness of Jesus' work to be all sufficient and powerful. In Jesus' work, we can be filled with His Spirit and be moved to action with boldness and security. Prayer is not only for us to unite and cry out to God together, it is a spiritual time where God changes our hearts and forms them in order for His will to be done. Jesus calls His Church to unite and pray, for the sick, for the lonely, for the suffering and for all situations.
